IEEE ICRA 2022 is the flagship conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and it will be hold in Philadelphia, USA. ICRA will bring together the world's top researchers and most important companies to share ideas and advances in our field. Our Workshop on the Verification of Autonomous Systems (VAS) will be organized in conjunction with ICRA on Monday 23 May 2022 in a hybrid format. It will consist of four panels about different key aspects concerning the verification of autonomous systems:
Panel 1: Requirements and Metrics for the Verification of Autonomous Systems
Panel 2: Formal Approaches and Standards to Verifying Autonomous Systems
Panel 3: Safety for Learning-Enabled Autonomous Systems
Panel 4: Trusting Autonomous Systems.
Each panel will comprise four short talks (6-10 minutes) and will be followed by a Panel discussion with IEEE-RAS TC-VAS group members and other speakers from both Academia and Industry.
Topics will include, but are not limited to:
Trustworthiness in Autonomous Robotic Systems
Explainability of Learning-Enabled Robotic Systems
Trusting Robots
Trustworthy Cooperation and Collaboration in Human-Robot Systems
Safety in Robotic Systems
Safety of Autonomous Systems
Verifying Human-Robot Interaction Safety
Safety of Innovative Robot Designs
Tools and Techniques for Autonomous Robotic System Verification
Evaluation Methods and New Methodologies
Prospective panellists are invited to send a title together with a 100-word abstract to the corresponding organizer, Dr Joanna Olszewska . Each submission will be reviewed in terms of relevance with respect to the scope of the event, originality, and quality of the technical content, Submission of the title & abstract implies intention to register and present the related content at the workshop, including the participation in the related panel discussion.
